Competition Organisers Course

Description

The course is 3 hours long and at the end of the session you will be prepared to confidently deliver your first competition and assist a club, coach or committee in planning competitions.

The course will include:

  • Guidance on how to plan and run your competition;
  • Competition format guidance and best practise depending on the number of players and their standard; and
  • Tips to help you to plan your welcome presentation to players and parents and your prize giving presentation.

When attending you will be given a toolkit to help you start running competitions.

Level 1 - The LTA Level 1 Coach Assistant Qualification is the first step on the LTA Coaching Pathway. It is aimed at people looking to work as a coaching assistant at a club or other tennis venue, such as a park or a school.

Level 2 - The LTA Level 2 Coach Assistant Qualification is a 5 day assessed course aimed at people looking to progress from the Level 1 and is the second step on the LTA Coaching Pathway.
