Chinese Lanterns

Thursday Evening 7-9pm

This course is for those who have completed a Chinese Level 1 course or have some basic knowledge of Chinese (the ability to read and write pinyin and some Chinese characters). Reading, writing, listening and speaking skills will be developed in a wider range of areas and conversations will be more structured.

The course runs for 20 weeks, 2 hours per week.  The price of the course will be added during the registration process.

LU and LSU Staff, Alumni, Campus Partner Staff and Concessions (pensioners, job seekers etc) registered in 2016-17: £125
General Public registered in 2016-17: £155

Discount for anyone registered in 2016-17:£30 (already applied to the returner rates above). No more than one discount can be applied per year.

Any refunds should be requested in writing to languages@lboro.ac.uk by Friday 13th October at 4 pm. A £20 fee will be applied.

  • The particle guo ? indicating past experience
  • The particle le ? indicating change of situation
  • Zai ?and zheng zai ??indicating ongoing actions
  • A summary of prepositions and adverbs

The tutor will also give extra hand-outs for different topics and exercises.
