Eiffel Tower and the Seine

Wednesday Afternoons 3-5pm

This course is intended for learners who have previously completed at least a 40 hour French course for beginners. The aim of this course is to reinforce and extend the language skills needed for more complex conversation in everyday situations. The emphasis is on oral communication and active participation. In class three skills are practised, i.e. speaking, listening and reading.

The course runs for 20 weeks for 2 hours per week.  The price of the course will be added during the registration process.

Discount for anyone registered in 2016-17: £30 (already applied to the returner rates above). No more than one discount can be applied per year.

Any refunds should be requested in writing to languages@lboro.ac.uk by Friday 13th October at 4 pm. A £20 fee will be applied.

Course Description

Most written work is done at home. Activities are varied and involve pair and group work. The use of worksheets, handouts, videos etc. in the classroom will help to encourage confidence in speaking and listening.
