French 3 2017 - Lower Intermediate
This course is for those who have done levels 1 & 2; it is also suitable for students with basic GCSE or very rusty O Level French, or who can communicate reasonably well and who wish to improve their fluency. Various areas of France will be studied, along with some aspects of French culture.
The course runs for 20 weeks for 2 hours per week. The price of the course will be added during the registration process.

No more than one discount can be applied per year.
Any refunds should be requested in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday 13th October at 4 pm. A £20 fee will be applied.

Attendance: Regular attendance is vital in order to make progress with your course. If you fail to attend three or more classes without notifying your tutor or the Language Centre, you will be considered to have withdrawn. Your place may be offered to a student on the waiting list; no refund will be given.
Refunds: Any refunds must be requested in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday 13th October at 4 pm and are subject to a £20 fee. No refunds will be granted after this date.
Study Abroad/Placement Semester: Students going on a semester or placement abroad in their second semester can receive a 50% refund once they have sent their receipt and evidence of their placement / study abroad to email@example.com.
Learners who are leaving Loughborough for any other reason before classes start up again in February can request a 50% refund minus £20.
In both cases, requests should be made in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org before class 2 of the evening course. Students who have not yet secured a placement can inform us of their intention to leave by the deadline and request a partial refund once their placement confirmed.
Cancellations: The University reserves the right to cancel any course which does not recruit a viable number of students. All refund will be made in this case.
Course Materials: Course books are not included in the fee.
Assessment: None. However all learners can request a Certificate of Attendance providing they attend at least 80% of a course. Email email@example.com on completion.
Loughborough University Students can gain points toward the Employability Award by attending an evening class course.
No classes during University vacations and exam periods.
