Thursday Evenings 7-9pm

This course is intended for those who already have a good grasp of the language (good GCSE / 2-3 years study) and who are well motivated and prepared to work in their own time to consolidate their knowledge and progress to advanced language work. The aims of the course are to consolidate existing knowledge, extend range and complexity of vocabulary and grammar on most topics that are familiar or of personal interest and improve fluency. The emphasis is on conversation and active participation. 

The course runs for 20 weeks, 2 hours per week.

The price of the course will be added during the registration process.

Course Fees are:

Course Description

Competence in using all tenses done to date will be revised and the subjunctive mood and passive voice will be introduced, along with more complex structures and idioms. In class three skills are practised, i.e. speaking, listening and reading. Most written work is done at home. The tutor will use some topical news items for discussion, helping students to prepare for work at Level 4.
