Mount Fuji

Japanese 1 2017 - Beginner

This course is designed for complete beginners or students with little knowledge of the language. In order to make learning easy, the English alphabet, 'Roma-ji' is mainly used in class during the 1st semester. Then, in the 2nd semester the class gradually shifts from Roma-ji to Hiragana and Katakana, which are everyday scripts in Japan.  

The course runs for 20 weeks, 2 hours per week.  The price of the course will be added during the registration process.

Japanese 2 2017 - Post Beginner

This course is mainly intended for those who completed the beginners' course recently. If you studied basic Japanese some years ago and are not confident in using particles properly, then you are advised to take the level 1 course. Prerequisite: you should have a sound knowledge of Hiragana (reading and writing), and knowledge of Katakana is desirable.

The course runs for 20 weeks, 2 hours per week.  The price of the course will be added during the registration process.

Japanese 3 2017 - Lower Intermediate

This course is for students who have completed Level 2 and/or are confident in using basic Japanese verbs and adjectives with the correct grammatical structures, conjugations and particles. Generally you will have completed Japanese for Busy People I or equivalent.

PREREQUISITE: You must be able to read and write both Hiragana and Katakana perfectly. Basic Kanji or Kanji are used in class but the practice of Kanji is not dealt with in class.

The course runs for 20 weeks, 2 hours per week.  The price of the course will be added during the registration process.
