Monday Evenings 5-7pm

This course is intended for students who have completed level 2 or students with a basic GCSE / rusty O Level, or who can communicate reasonably well and who wish to improve their fluency. You need to understand the formation of the past tenses. Although the main emphasis will be on speaking Spanish, you will also develop your listening and reading comprehension skills. 

The course runs for 20 weeks, 2 hours per week.  The price of the course will be added during the registration process.

Discount for anyone registered in 2016-17:£30 (already applied to the returner rates above). No more than one discount can be applied per year.

•           Talking about past events

•           Talking about the weather

•           Making comparisons

•           Saying how long ago and how long for

•           Ordering food and saying what you like

•           Talking about your dreams and ambitions

•           Instructions and commands

•           Making plans

On completion students will be able to:

•           Understand the main points of clear speech on familiar matters

•           Read texts consisting of everyday language

•           Understand descriptions of events, feelings and wishes in a personal letter

•           Deal with most situations likely to arise while travelling in a Spanish-speaking country

•           Start a conversation on familiar topics

•           Connect phrases in a simple way to describe experiences, hopes and ambitions

Self-study is not a requirement of the course, however you will gain greater satisfaction if you are able and prepared to invest some time on study between sessions.
