Creative Writing Evening Class

Description

10 week course in Creative Writing.

Dates: Wednesdays, 7-9pm. Runs for 10 sessions from 26th January-30th March

£100 full price /£50 concessions.

A creative writing evening class organised by LU Arts and led by Alison Mott. Open to staff, students and members of the public over 16, and is suitable for writers of all levels.

This is a mixed ability course, suitable for those wanting to learn new skills and writers looking to polish existing talents. Topics covered during the course include character development, utilizing your senses, writing from life experience and much more. The focus is primarily on fiction, but the skills you will learn are applicable to poetry and writing for screen and stage.

Please inform us of any specific accessibility requirements in the booking questionnaire. No refunds will be possible after the first week.

Please note that feedback cannot be given on work outside of classes, and this is not a ‘workshopping’ class for developing a substantive single piece of writing.
