Mandarin 1 2017 - Beginner

This course is intended for learners with minimal or no knowledge of Mandarin Chinese. Its aim is to help students acquire and develop basic Mandarin language skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing). Students will learn the Chinese sound system (the four tones) and character components in writing Chinese. Each session will involve a variety of interactive practice activities.

The course runs for 20 weeks, 2 hours per week.  The price of the course will be added during the registration process.

Chinese Lanterns

Mandarin 2 2017 - Post Beginner

This course is for those who have completed a Chinese Level 1 course or have some basic knowledge of Chinese (the ability to read and write pinyin and some Chinese characters). Reading, writing, listening and speaking skills will be developed in a wider range of areas and conversations will be more structured.

The course runs for 20 weeks, 2 hours per week.  The price of the course will be added during the registration process.

Mandarin 3 2017 - Lower Intermediate

This mixed ability intermediate course is for those who have completed Chinese Level 2 or Level 3A at Loughborough or have learnt Mandarin Chinese for 80 hours or more. Reading, writing, listening and speaking skills will move toward a more advanced stage, making way for more complex interactions in a Mandarin-speaking environment. 

The course runs for 20 weeks, 2 hours per week.

The price of the course will be added during the registration process.
